Hyeseon Shin

Hyeseon Shin is the Founder and Managing Attorney of YG Legal Inc. and is licensed to practice law in California, New York, and the Republic of Korea. Her practice focuses on cross-border business matters and healthcare-related legal and regulatory issues, with particular emphasis on Korea–U.S. legal matters. Prior to founding her firm, Ms. Shin gained experience at international law firms and professional services organizations, including Dentons US LLP and Deloitte Tax LLP (Washington National Tax), where she worked on international arbitration, corporate and multistate tax matters, and cross-border regulatory issues. She also practiced as an associate attorney in Seoul, representing corporate and institutional clients across a broad range of civil, administrative, tax, and compliance matters. Ms. Shin earned her Juris Doctor from Yonsei University Law School and later obtained both an LL.M. in Taxationand an LL.M. (General) from Georgetown University Law Center, where she received academic honors including the Dean’s List and the CALI Award.With experience practicing law in both Korea and the United States, Ms. Shin brings a practical, cross-cultural perspective to her work and is committed to providing clear, strategic, and client-focused legal representation.
